  • Convenient locations: Clients in New Jersey can receive therapy at two physical offices: 33 Plymouth St #105, Montclair, NJ 07042 and 596 Franklin Ave, Nutley, NJ 07110. These locations offer a comfortable, welcoming environment for in‑person sessions.

  • Telehealth & virtual groups: If traveling is difficult, Resilience Therapy offers telehealth and virtual groups for New Jersey residents. This hybrid model allows you to choose the level of convenience that works best for your schedule.

Yes. Your phone consultation with us is free. In this phone contact, it is our responsibility to you, to determine if coming to Resilience Therapy Collaborative is the appropriate step for you or your family’s needs, and that you are in the right place.

There is no charge to consult with us on the phone about your mental health needs and your particular situation. This initial phone screening/consultation is highly confidential, free, and cannot take place through e-mail exchange. Moving forward to scheduling your comprehensive intake for you is based on this brief initial phone screening.

Unfortunately no. To offer the highest quality mental health care possible, we are Out-of-Network Providers, for all insurance companies. We do ask you to pay upfront and submit to your insurance company for your reimbursement. We may be able to submit your paid claim for you, to keep you paperless if you wish this courtesy service.

To find out how much you will be reimbursed, You may call your insurance company to inquire about your Out-of-Network Outpatient Mental Health Benefits. This information will help you determine how much you will be reimbursed for your care at the Resilience Therapy Collaborative.

When you call your insurance company to get information about your Out-of-Network Benefits, be sure to ask what your Annual Deductible is, and if it has been met for this calendar year. Ask about the percentage your plan will reimburse you for each mental health visit, such as 80% or 70%, etc, after your Deductible has been met.

Seeking our help for a mental health concern or the evaluation of an eating disorder, begins with a one Comprehensive 90- Minute Evaluation, and can extend through four sessions.

During this evaluation we want to get to know you, your history, your strengths, your symptoms, and your struggles. If you choose to tell us your story, we want to listen. From this history, we can begin to develop an appropriate treatment plan for you or your child. This intake process should help you determine if you are confident that we have the appropriate expertise to help move you or your child move toward the health you envision for yourself or your child.

Even if we enjoy having you as a client, our job is to make sure you can return to full living as soon as possible. We have traditional training as counselors and psychotherapists, but we specialize in advanced Evidenced Based Treatments for both Mental Health and the Treatment of Eating Disorders. Treatments that have the most research behind them. We are committed to the efficiency of your symptom resolution, though Family Based Treatment, CBT-E, and Comprehensive DBT.

And of course, the rest is up to you. Evidenced-based treatments require your participation, therapy homework, and accountability 7 days a week. It is your between-session commitment that will help your therapy be effective, efficient, and powerful.

You are not responsible for your Reserved Individual or Family Therapy session when:

  • You give us 48 hours notice
  • You have a serious individual or family medical emergency
  • There are hazardous road or traveling conditions   

Resilience DBT & Eating Recovery Skills Groups are paid as a monthly tuition. Cancellation for DBT Group does not apply.
Fee Schedule: Our Consultation and Treatment Fees for this Calendar Year, are furnished upon request.
